Upload Instructions

  1. Download the files above using the buttons
  2. Log into your server (cPanel / FTP / file manager)
  3. Navigate to / folder
  4. Upload featured.json — create the file if it doesn't exist yet
  5. Upload products.json to replace the existing one
  6. Refresh your website — changes are live immediately
How To Use

Two types of featured content

This tool manages two separate things:

  • Homepage Feature Slots — Custom curated entries (Feature1, Feature2 etc). You write the title, description, and link. These can feature combos, new arrivals, seasonal messaging — anything. They don't have to be a single SKU. Photo goes in your /Feature/ folder on the server.
  • Monthly Product Tags — Tag individual products from your catalog to appear in the "Featured This Month" grid. These pull directly from products.json and show live pricing.

Homepage Feature Slots — step by step

  1. Go to Homepage Features tab
  2. Click + Add Slot
  3. Fill in: ID (e.g. feature1), month, title, description, image path, link URL
  4. Add as many slots as you need
  5. Go to Export JSON → Download featured.json
  6. Upload to /featured.json on your server

Image path format: Feature/Feature1.png — just drop the image in a folder called Feature in your / directory.

Monthly Product Tags — step by step

  1. Go to Monthly Products tab
  2. Click Load products.json and open your current products.json
  3. Search or filter to find products you want to feature
  4. Type a month name (e.g. MARCH) or ALWAYS in the field next to each product
  5. Use the Quick tag dropdown to set multiple products at once
  6. Go to Export JSON → Download products.json
  7. Upload to replace your existing /products.json

Month format: Full month name in caps — MARCH, APRIL etc. Multiple months: MARCH,APRIL. Year-round: ALWAYS.

Companion / Add-On products (coming soon)

A future update will let you tag "Related Patterns" against each product — e.g. matching shorts for a basketball jersey. These will appear as "Complete the Look" suggestions in the product modal.
